The guitar gleams. Cherry wood curves gracefully outlining its back. Lighter spruce contrasts with ebony frets on the front. The centre of attraction is an exquisitely carved three-layer rose that covers the sound hole. The instrument is a work of art.
It is also the work of a second-year student at the Don Wright Faculty of Music. Emily Shaw spent her summer creating this Baroque guitar to play in the Early Music Studio... (more)
