The Don Wright Faculty of Music at the University of Western Ontario is pleased to announce that beginning July 2012, Maestro Alain Trudel will begin a two-year appointment as Director of the Orchestral Ensembles.
For the last 18 months, students have been most fortunate to experience tremendous growth under the baton of Maestro Geoffrey Moull whose contract ends June 2012.
Alain Trudel comes to the faculty with rich experiences as a musician, conductor and educator and we are confident that the students will continue to grow under his leadership. His presence in London has already been felt as conductor of Orchestra London Canada and we look forward to him joining us in July.
