Chamber Music

Directors: Tom Wiebe, Jana Starling

Chamber music is a vital aspect of music-making. Playing chamber music fosters listening, awareness, flexibility and collaborating with others. Western's student chamber music program offers various valuable performance opportunities, including year-end recitals, outreach concerts, and other events.

Auditions:

All Western students are welcome to perform a September audition for possible assignment to a chamber group. Auditions are required for chamber music enrollment. Complete audition information available here.

Rehearsals:

Chamber groups are required to rehearse at least twice per week, totaling two hours per week. View course outline for complete information or visit the MPS general ensemble information page.
