Dear Band Director, Clarinet Instructor, or Clarinetist,
On Saturday, November 26, the UWO Clarinet Studios are hosting a day full of clarinet activities and all clarinetists are invited!
My name is Jana Starling and I am the newly hired clarinet professor in the music department at the University of Western Ontario. On behalf of the music department, Marie Johnson,
Peter Shackleton, and myself and the UWO clarinet students, we invite clarinetists of all ages and levels for a day of -
*masterclasses & mini lessons
*clinics on select clarinet-related topics
*a performance with the UWO Clarinet Choir
*UWO faculty & friends recital
*merchandise tables with mouthpieces, barrels, instruments,
sheet music and reeds all for trial and purchase

AND a recital and class by our special guest artist, clarinetist, Dr. Anne Watson!
Clarinetists at all levels will have the opportunity to improve their playing skills and learn more about their instrument. In addition, participants can perform on stage with the 30-some university clarinet majors in UWO’s Clarinet Choir!
The fee for the entire day is $17! (includes lunch and recital reception)
Please fill out the included registration form and mail it along with your payment no later than Friday, November 11th, 2010 to:

Late registrants will be accepted at the door but fee is $22.

The Don Wright School of Music is located at 1151 Richmond Street, London, ON. (corner of Lambton Dr. and Huron St.) Participants will be together the whole day, and younger ones can be buddied-up with UWO students upon request. Also activities will be tailored to fit each participant’s level of experience. A map, confirmation of registration and detailed information will be emailed out after Nov. 11th.
