Elisha Jo is a PhD candidate in Music Education at Western University. She has received BMus and MMus degrees in Organ Performance from McGill University and MMus in Music Education from Western University. Her research interests include cultural meanings of creativity, identity construction, and diasporic perceptions as seen through the lens of music teaching and learning. As a teacher and volunteer, she is actively involved with the Korean Canadian community and wishes to further contribute through her study of community-living older adults.
