Performance Auditions for Admission to the Honors Performance, One-Year Artist Diploma and Music Performance Diploma Programs:

2009-2010

This document applies to:

  1. All students currently in the Honors Performance or Music Performance Diploma program
  2. Music students wishing to enter the Honors Performance program next year
  3. Music students planning to switch to another Faculty at Western next year and take the Music Performance Diploma program currently with a course of study leading to an academic degree.

If, for next year, you are planning to remain in the same program you are currently registered in, you must complete your Intent to Register ON LINE by March 31.

If you are not currently in a performance program but are planning to audition for the Honors Performance program in spring 2010, or if you are changing faculties and wish to audition for the Three-Year Music Performance Diploma program, you will need to do a paper Intent to Register in person by March 5.

For this year only, please see Diane Mills in TC210 to complete and sign an Intent to Register form for a performance program. The Performance Department Secretary will prepare the performance audition schedule from the Performance Department's copies of the Intent to Register forms.

Again, the deadline to complete an Intent to Register form for a performance program is Friday, March 5.

IMPORTANT! Failure to complete the Intent to Register process by the deadline means that you will not be able to add courses via the web during summer course registration.

The performance audition schedule will be posted on the Music website in late March. Please inform Melaney in TC232 if you have an exam on one of the performance audition dates that could conflict with your audition.
